PHYSIQUE SPORTS FESTIVAL

1st EDITION.

Warsaw, February 21-23, 2020

REGULATIONS

  1. PURPOSE OF THE EVENT

The purpose of the Physique Sports Festival is the promotion of bodybuilding and fitness.

The festival consists of four separately held events:

a) “NPC / IFBB Pro League Bodybuilding and Fitness Debuts 2020”

b) “NPC / IFBB Pro League International Polish Championships in Bodybuilding and Fitness 2020”

c) “Battle for Olympia 2020”

d) “International Xtreme Fitness Challenge – IFBB Pro Qualifier”

e) COMPETITION PROMOTER AND ORGANIZERS

2. DATE AND EVENT VENUE

February 21-23, 2020, CRS Bielany sports hall located at ul. Lindego 20, Warsaw, Poland.

3. ARRIVAL

Debut contest participants should arrive on February 21, 2020 (Friday) and report to the competition office located in the CRS Bielany building at ul. Lindego 20, Warsaw from 8.00 am to 11.00 am.

Participants of the Polish Championships should arrive on February 22, 2020 (Saturday) and report to the competition office located in the CRS Bielany building at ul. Lindego 20, Warsaw from 8.00 am to 11.00 am.

Participants of the Xtreme Fitness Challenge should arrive on February 23, 2020 (Sunday) and report to the competition office located in the CRS Bielany building at ul. Lindego 20, Warsaw from 8.00 am to 11.00 am.

If a contestant participates in several contests (day after day), they should report for verification for all contests before the first contest.

5. PARTICIPATION

ATTENTION: Only contestants aged over 18 may participate in the competition (determined by the birth year). The participation in 2020 Festival is allowed for athletes born in 2002 or earlier.

Debuts are open to everybody who begins participation in bodybuilding or fitness contests. Contestants do not have to be affiliated in sports organizations or be members of any federation. Those who have never competed in bodybuilding and fitness contests as well as those who debut in 2020 and debutants from previous years, provided that it would be only their second competition in their career, may enter the Debuts competition.

Contestants who violate this rule will be disqualified.

An athlete who gets registered on the website of the Physique Sports Festival – www.IFBBPRO.com.pl within the registration period set by the organizer and will be positively verified on the day of the contest can participate in “NPC / IFBB PRO Debuts in Bodybuilding and Fitness 2020”.

An athlete who gets registered on the official website of the NPC & IFBB Professional League Promoter in Poland or on the website of the Physique Sports Festival: www.IFBBPRO.com.pl or www.festiwalsportowsylwetkowych.pl (of your choice) within the registration period set by the organizer and will be positively verified on the day of the contest or a day before the contest can participate in the “NPC / IFBB Pro League International Polish Championships in Bodybuilding and Fitness 2020”.

Contestants of all federations and debutants, affiliated and non-affiliated contestants, Polish citizens and foreigners with the entry permission granted during the verification by the organizer can participate in “NPC International Polish Championships 2020”.

Only the winners in open classes from the two previous contests held during the Festival (Debuts and Polish Championships) are allowed to participate in the contest called “Battle for Olympia 2020”. The number of female contestants will be maximum 12 winners in open classes, while the number of male contestants will be maximum 8 winners in the open classes. The contest will be divided in two classes:

  • Men’s open – Men’s Bodybuilding, Classic Physique & Physique, Masters – a total of 8 contestants
  • Women’s open – Women’s Figure, Physique & Bikini Fitness, Masters – 12 contestants in total.

Contestants of all federations and debutants, affiliated and non-affiliated contestants, Polish citizens and foreigners with the start permission granted during the verification by the organizer can take part in “International Xtreme Fitness Challenge – IFBB Pro Qualifier”. Contestants with professional status and holders of the IFBB Pro League card may not participate in this contest.

NOTE! For organizational reasons, the number of places for contestants in “NPC / IFBB Pro Bodybuilding and Fitness Debuts 2020” is limited to 200 and the number of places in the “NPC / IFBB Pro Polish Championships 2020” is limited to 200 as well. The number of contestants participating in the “Xtreme Fitness Challenge – IFBB Pro Qualifier” is limited to 200 people. These limitations have been introduced due to the competition schedule, as well as to provide comfort to the contestants and because of the fact that the Festival features as many as 4 different contest over three days. Once these numbers of registered contestants are achieved, the registration form on the website will become inactive.

Therefore, the order in which a participation application for selected contest has been received will determine if the participation in the contest is possible. The registration for participation in a selected contest can be made only via the website: www.IFBBPRO.com.pl and starts on September 01, 2019.

The deadline for submitting entries for the competitions of the Physique Sports Festival is January 1, 2020. After this date, applications lists and registration on websites will be closed.

Registration of the participants through the website is required to enter a participant on the start list of the selected competition.

Contestants participating in Debuts, Polish Championships and Extreme Fitness Challenge can compete in up to two categories in each of these contests. Debutants can also take part in the Polish Championships in up to two categories and in the Extreme Fitness Challenge.

The competition will be judged by a panel of at least five judges certified by NPC / IFBB Pro League from the USA and Europe.

The Polish Championships will also feature the following Masters classes (veterans):

• Bikini Masters over 35 years of age (determined by the birth year): open class or up to 163 cm and above 163 cm

• Figure Masters over 35 years of age: open class

• Men’s Classic Physique Masters over 40 years of age: open class or up to 175 cm and above 175 cm

• Men’s Bodybuilding Masters over 40 years of age: open class or up to 80 kg and over 80 kg

6. VERIFICATION OF CONTESTANTS

The verification of contestants starting in Debuts will take place in the CRS Bielany hall located at ul. Lindego 20, Warsaw, on Friday, February 21, 2020, between 8.00 am and 11.00 am, for those starting in the Polish Championships it will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020 between 8.00 am and 11.00 am and for those competing in the Xtreme Fitness Challenge it will take place on February 23, between 8.00 am and 11.00 am. If a contestant participates in several contests (two or three), they should report for verification for all contests before the first one.

The condition for a positive verification on the day of the contest or a day before the contest is that the contestant is in a “decent” starting shape. Athletes who are negatively verified by a minimum of 2 verifying judges may not be allowed to start. In such case, the contestant does not bear any costs associated with registration. The judging panel may not allow a contestant who is not prepared to start if he / she does not have an identity document, competition outfit and a USB flash drive with a recording for a freestyle program (if required in a given division).

All athletes undergoing verification should have:

  • an identification document,
  • a posing suit,
  • a USB flash drive with a recording for a freestyle program if required in a given division (the recording should be recorded as the first, the USB flash drive should be signed and checked after recording by the contestant)
  • a printed-out confirmation of the entry fee payment
  • a printed-out confirmation of the registration at the competition website (confirmation of the registration form submission).

Each contestant has the right to compete in three (except for debutant) or four competitions (debutants) and in a maximum of two categories in each contest.

The following entry fees paid by a contestant apply in individual competitions of the first Physique Sports Festival:

  • “NPC / IFBB Pro Bodybuilding and Fitness Debuts 2020”- PLN 200, the second selected class is PLN 150.
  • “NPC / IFBB Pro League International Polish Championships in Bodybuilding and Fitness 2020” – PLN 250, the second selected class is PLN 200.
  • “Battle for Olympia 2020” – no entry fee
  • “Xtreme Fitness Challenge – IFBB Pro Qualifier” – PLN 850 PLN (EUR 200, the second selected class is PLN 425 (EUR 100).

The transfer description should include the name and surname of the contestant who the fee is paid for and the exact name of the competition for which the payment is made (e.g. “John Smith, contest entry fee – NPC Polish Championships 2020”).

The entry fee for participation in the competition must be paid during registration or before the registration of a contestant on the website www.IFBBPRO.com.pl or www.FestiwalSportowSylwetkowych.pl , because a confirmation of the transfer payment for the entry fee should be attached to the registration form, or one can choose an instant transfer option (przelewy24) and make a transfer directly during registration. It is not possible to pay the entry fee for selected competitions during the verification just before the contest, as entries with registration fees are ONLY accepted by the contest or festival website until the limit of entries for the given competition is achieved or by January 1, 2020 at the latest.

Contestants who have made a payment in the form of a bank transfer are kindly asked to bring a print-out confirming the transfer for verification. Confirmations in electronic form displayed on mobile phones will also be accepted.

If a contestant has paid the entry fee, but due to unforeseeable reasons (illness, injury, etc.) cannot participate in the competition, such person has the right to ask the competition promoter for entry fee refund. Each such case will be considered by the organizer individually. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to refund the entry fee if no justified reason for resignation has been presented.

The entry fee is not refundable if the contestant withdraws from the start after verification or if the contestant is late to start in their class.

At verification, each contestant will receive a wristband, which must be worn throughout the event. This band is an entry pass to the hall and the backstage. In addition, contestants are required to comply with the rules stipulated in the “Order Regulations” for contestants, published in a separate tab on the competition website.

7. DIVISIONS AND CLASSES

The competition will be judged and held in accordance with the rules of the NPC Worldwide federation in all divisions and physique classes. Refereeing rules and the list of classes can be found in the relevant tab on the competition website.

  • Women’s Fitness: open or up to 160 cm, above 160 cm
  • Women’s Figure: up to 163 cm, up to 168 cm, over 168 cm
  • Women’s Bikini: up to 155 cm, up to 159 cm, up to 163 cm, up to 166 cm, up to 170 cm, over 170 cm
  • Women’s Wellness (fitwell): open or up to 163 cm and above 163 cm
  • Women’s Physique: open or up to 168 cm, above 168cm
  • Men’s Physique: up to 170 cm, up to 173 cm, up to 175 cm, up to 180 cm, up to 183 cm, over 183 cm
  • Men’s Classic Physique: up to 175 cm and above 175 cm or up to 170 cm, up to 178 cm, above 178 cm
  • Men’s Bodybuilding: up to 65 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 75 kg, up to 80 kg, up to 90 kg, up to 102 kg and over 102 kg

If there are less than five contestants in any weight or height class, the class will be combined with a higher weight / height class. The organizer reserves the right to create more height or weight classes, if required by the number of contestants.

The number of weight and height classes will be announced immediately after the verification of all contestants.

FINAL EVENT SCHEDULE AND THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE NUMBER OF CLASSES IN INDIVIDUAL DIVISIONS WILL BE APPROVED AFTER VERIFICATION AND IMMEDIATELY PROVIDED TO CONTESTANTS, JUDGES AND ORGANIZERS.

8. CONTESTANTS REGISTRATION

Registration of contestants starts on September 1, 2019 ONLY via the websites www.IFBBPRO.com.pl or www.FestiwalSportowSylwetkowych.pl (of your choice).

  1. PRIZES
  • The prizes in “NPC Debuts 2020” are 2 trips (including flight and accommodation) as well as 2 entries for participation (registration fee) in the IFBB NPC Arnold Classic Amateur 2020 in Ohio, USA.
  • The awards in the “NPC International Polish Championships 2020” are statuettes, medals, non-cash prizes and the qualification for the “Battle for Olympia” competition.
  • The prizes in the „Battle for Olympia” are 2 trips (including flight and accommodation) as well as 2 entries for participation (registration fee) in the IFBB NPC Olympia Amateur 2020 in Las Vegas, USA.
  • The prizes in the “Xtreme Fitness Challenge – IFBB Pro Qualifier” are Pro cards, 1 card for the winner of each division in open class, 7 Pro cards in total
  • Participation in the Festival also allows to obtain qualification to the Polish national team for the first NPC & IFBB Professional League World Championships in Atlanta, USA in 2020. Appointment to the national team for the world championships will be granted at least to 3 best contestants in the open class in each division within the “International Xtreme Fitness Challenge – IFBB PRO Qualifier”, i.e. to 21 contestants in total.
  1. ORDER REGULATIONS

Note! For aesthetic reasons and to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the facility where the sports event is organized, all contestants participating in the competitions may only use non-marking (hard-wearing) spray tans. Therefore, the organizer recommends using only products officially approved and used by major federations (IFBB Professional League / NPC Worldwide).

Professional spray tanning services will be available at the competition. The service will be provided by SKLEPZAWODNIKA.PL. You can book tanning services via the competition or festival website at www.IFBBPRO.com.pl or www.FestiwalSportowSylwetkowych.pl (of your choice) or by e-mail to sklepzawodnikapl@gmail.com or by sending a text message to +48 604 414 123, with the request and the first and last name of the contestant, start class and contest title.

9. ARRIVAL AND ACCOMMODATION

Competition participants travel at their own expense. They book and cover the cost of accommodation individually.

10. FINAL PROVISIONS

Disputes arising during the competition and not covered by these Regulations shall be resolved by the competition promoter with the participation of the main judge and possibly a representative of the NPC / IFBB Pro League.
