NPC FESTIVAL POLAND 28th and 29th of August.

Fifth NPC Festival organized by Ifbb Pro Robert Piotrkowicz on 28th and 29th of August just outside Warsaw in Marki, Poland.
Event also hosted for the first time* in Poland professional competition in men’s classic physique and bikini fitness called Battle of Champions on Sunday, August 29. 
(Poland ever hosted only one professional show in bodybuilding open it was Kevin Levrone Classic in 2016).
The festival consisted of three shows regional on Saturday, Pro Qualifier and Pro show on Sunday.


Organizer’s went above and beyond to accommodate athletes best they could. They had setting up huge backstage area with plenty space for every one to set up, those who traveled from far had chance to pay fee`s once they arrive for peace of mind in case they would not made it due to travel issues ect.

NPC Pro Qualifier:

BODYBUILDING:

This class was hugely dominated by local athletes given that day before the regional show took place and same bodybuilder’s had the chance to fight for a Pro status.

British fans could watch super heavy Joe Ballinger who just two weeks ago came very close loosing only to Rob Cannon in Alicante (2 pro card show) Npc Europeans.

Joe came third behind winner Jakub Pestka and second place Michal Mikulewicz , Lukas Smagurauskas from Lithuania was fourth and Adam Suker fifth.

Super heavies from left Smagurauskas, Mikulewicz, Pestka, Ballinger and Suker.

Overall and Pro Card in this category to surprise of himself went to heavy weight winner (23 year old junior) Pawel Kowalski.
Pawel who competed under NPC for the third time in Poland (won all there 3 in the row btw, Nationals in April and regional day before) couldn`t hide tears of joy on stage and after during interviews.
Pawel came to the show without huge expectations and was planning long season ahead.

CLASSIC:

In Classic Class C we had Jimmy Tonkinson and Toby Richards (5th). Jimmy won this class but in Overall he came across Andreas Fotiadis who was unstoppable that day.

Men`s Physique:

Here we had two names Heider Mehdi was center stage for most of the comparisons in class D but was moved aside at the very end and eventually placed second. Also we had Harley Judge in class C who came fourth.

Overall win and Ifbb Pro card went to Sergii Tkachenko from Ukraine.

FIGURE:

Overall winner Paula Ranta from Finland, Polish figure Karolina Lukasiewicz who was representing UK at this show came fifth.

WELLNESS:

Trophy in the newest category went to Diana Verduzco from Mexico. Scarlett Harvey placed in Top 5.

BIKINI:

Christine Fox won class A out of the eight girls but it was class B champion Wiktoria Gasior who took the overall win and could compete along other Pro athletes at evening main event..

Classic Physique Pro show – Battle of Champions 2021

Out of initially eleven athlete’s final list consisted of eight bodybuilders who took on stage to fight for the last available ticket to Olympia 2021 in Classic Physique category.
The likes of Urs Kalecinski already won Tampa Pro and secured his spot to big O (but he was present at the festival), Michael Daboul skipped Europa Pro in Spain and this show in favor of prepping for Arnold Classic UK in October.
Before the competition, the Dutchman Wesley Vissers was considered a favorite to win, not only having the necessary experience, but he can also boast that he can bring a perfect illusion of power and perfect posing to the podium.

British bodybuilding fans could watch Jack Connor`s (Olympia Amateur UK 2019 winner) debut on Pro stage. 
The first call out consisted of four names and as expected included 28-year-old Wesley, who was joined in a by Pavel Szotkowski from Czech Rapublic, Roman Khaliulin from Russia and Brit Jack Connor

The results: Wesley Vissers has achieved his third victory in the IFBB pro league and will be going to Olympia again. 
Roman Khaliulin took second, Jack Connor third, Pavel Szotkowski fourth place.
The only local pro in the this category Hubert Kulczynski finished fifth.

Top 3 Battle of the Champions Khaliulin 2rd, Vissers 1st, Connor 3rd.

Bikini Pro Show – Battle of Champions 2021

A dozen female competitors entered the women’s bikini, the last minut addition was winner of the NPC Pro Qualifier and new pro Wiktoria Gasior.
Wiktoria was immediately requested by the judges for the first call, she was joined by Anastasia Gonzalez, Adrianna Kaczmarek, Noora Mahonen, Ottavia Mazza and Priscila Rodrigues.
Then judges moved Noora and Adrianna to the center stage, which meant that they were the two fighting for victory.
To the delight of the home audience, a Polish professional came out victorious.
For Adrianna Kaczmarek this is the second win in the Pro ranks in most recent shows two weeks ago in Spain she placed third.
