“Dear NABBA competitors.
After a turbulent 2020 affecting many athletes, gyms and venues, we found ourselves at the start of the year, looking forward to the 2021 season.
Due to several factors, and importantly our commitment to your health, along with those who support you, we must make some important, and very difficult decisions regarding our competitions.
We regret to inform you that we are postponing all scheduled UK area qualifiers, and therefore the Britain Finals until further notice.
We are constantly looking at a range of key factors to enable our competitions to run with your best interests at the centre of every decision.
We want you to compete at your best, in a safe environment, and in front of your supporters, in person.
The additional future risks of blanket venue closures, regional tiers varying, and uncertainty for gyms, we simply don’t want you to have wasted your prep.
Instead, we want to ensure that if you set a goal to compete with NABBA and its prestigious competitions, your goal can be met with minimal disruption to allow you the time, clarity and focus to bring your best to stage.
We hope this reflects the mind set of the NABBA committee and wish everyone the very best as we get through this together.
Thank you for your support, we hope to support you when the right time comes.
We will keep you posted on social media as to when events are being planned in the future.
Yours in Bodybuilding…”
NABBA Chairman Jim Charles & Committee Members
