Overall winner of fifth PCA First Timers contest disqualified and banned!

At the last competitive weekend of the UK`s PCA (fifth) first timers event two of the athletes been caught as to previously competed. It didn’t take long to figure out as one of them won the Overall and was recognized.

Message posted by PCA Director Ryan Alexander on social media:

“It has been brought to our attention that over the weekend two competitors in our First Timers contest has been found to have competed previously.
When you entering a PCA First Timers contest online you are required to complete a disclaimer stating it is your first time on stage!
We post continually throughout the season that we have zero tolerance on this and can confirm the following athletes have been disqualified and banned from competing with PCA Bodybuilding Short Winner & Overall Champion and Physique Short 3rd Place. Bodybuilding Winner – Kraig Wharton will be rightly awarded the FT (5) Overall Sword This is black and white and totally clear!
This is unsportsmanlike behavior towards other athletes taking part and will not be tolerated.
In light of the exposing social media world we live in, please ensure you adhere to PCA rules and regulations and do not fraudulently enter a competition that is not applicable to you. You will be found out!

What`s actually very funny one of the guys cough had his competitive history on Instagram bio:

Arnold classic men’s physique beginners 2nd
Mr Derbyshire IBFA 2019 1st

Other immediately made his account private since the incident.

Identities of these athletes has been posted on social media but I decided to remove them from from this post.

The source told me that there might have been more athletes who previously competed but taken part at that event.

This kind of situation had happen in the past at the June`s First Timers event but competitor didn’t place and therefore didn’t affect category positions.
