Arnold Classic Amateur UK competition took place across three days from 23 till 25th Sep. During which amateurs had a chance to compete on the NPC Worldwide stage with a chance to win Ifbb professional cards. I was in the audience on Friday, in the men’s open bodybuilding we had mountain of a man who won’t be easy to miss even at professional level, since Josh Maley measure 6″6 . Josh won in overall beating first Marcin Zielinski in super heavies (much improved Marcin this season won super heavyweight class at Polish PQ week before) then other class winners (incl. middle weight Vladimir Dimitrov, light heavy Arthur Chen, heavy weight )
According to the internet Josh Maley is going to beat his friend Jamie Christian-Johal for the title of the tallest professional bodybuilder, who apparently is little bit shorter, I am yet to verify this information.
In female categories we had interesting situation Natalia Spierings competed in Figure and Women’s Physique and won overall in both, Natalia Edmondson won female bodybuilding but due to small number of athletes in the category was not awarded pro card.
