2021 NPC Champions Cup Poland RESULTS

NPC Worldwide Champions Cup Pro Qualifier Poland

Last weekend 15-16th of May, yet another Pro Qualifier in the calendar of amateur competitions under NPC Worldwide wich was one of 85 or perhaps 86 Pro Qualifiers considering Italy just added but who would count competitions.
Regional show – Polish Cup took place on Saturday and the main event Champions Cup PQ took place on Sunday, May 16 in Warsaw.
Whopping number of 577 international contestants was reported by organizer Robert Piotrkowicz which shouldn’t be a surprise since only about 3 Pro Qualifiers happened so far in Europe (after Russia and UK) and Poland had less strict travel restrictions compere to other two countries.

Athletes have been judged by panel on international judges from Spain, Holland and Poland.

One of most interesting categories was men`s bodybuilding super heavyweight where we had 4th Dominik Woywat, Germany (Ben Weider UK 2019 HW winner), 3rd Josef Květoň from Czech Republic, 2nd Emir Omeragic from Germany (one of the favorites to win Pro Card on social media) and first local favorite Piotr Wolniak, who later reached his overall triumph and Pro Card to Manion’s professional league.
Piotr has been among bodybuilders knocking to professional league door card for some time now, Friday. 2019 he won NAC World Championship , he finished fourth at the Olympia Amateur Portugal and second at the Czech Virus Open Cup. Last year, he was second at the tough line up at the Portuguese amateur Olympia, where he lost to Chemsou Elbey.

In other categories we had winner reaching overall trophies from Polish regional qualifier,
Classic Physique trophy went to Damian Kuffel, Klaudia Ignasiak won Bikini and Martyna Staszewska won Wellness.

In the Men’s Physique and Figure, the judges awarded professional cards to Rafał Zabawa and Tatiyana Pudovkin, athletes who in the past competed as IFBB`s Elite professionals.

A total of nine professional cards were available at this year’s Champions Cup Pro Qualifier. At this point, six of them were awarded unfortunatelly there was not enough competitors in women’s categories fitness, physique and bodybuilding to be entitled to a award professional cards to winners.

Worth mention two athletes from Ireland managed to arrive and compete in Poland, Paddy Sheil placed 6th in MP class D and Yvonne Mc Garry placed 5th in open figure class.
